Last Day of School - Friday, May 23rd:
Families are invited to our end of the year picnic on Friday, May 23rd! This picnic starts at 11:45am and is located outside around the school. Students need to bring their own lunch to the picnic, the cafeteria is closed on the last day of school. Families are welcome to bring lunch as well and eat with their students.
Students are welcome to leave school after the picnic but parents must sign students out with their homeroom teachers!! If students need to stay for the rest of the day there will be quiet activities in the classroom and school buses will run as usual. Pets, as much as we love them, are not supposed to be on NRE property during the school day due to legal requirements from the district, so please leave them at home.
The PTO is organizing some last-day-of-school fundraisers! If you're planning to bring lunch to school, please consider ordering from Cuba Cuba, Modern Market, Panda Express, or Tiger Den – a portion of their proceeds will go back to our PTO. Plus, the Kona Ice truck and Tiger Den Boba will be at the picnic to offer the opportunity to purchase refreshing treats to celebrate the end of the year.
